Astrid Wagner *1982 in Zeulenroda is an artist based in Vienna. She studied Performative Art & Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Astrid Wagner is interested in the relationships between art, origin/class, gender and performative aspects of architecture. In her work, she questions the boundaries and transitions between art and mainstream culture in spatial settings. Her artistic practice encompasses installation, scenography, sculpture, painting and text.
